Ahh, this song aka "CHAPTER 13". Well this is a weird story, but still very interesting nonetheless. "TIGERLILY" is probably one the best love songs I ever written for anyone, unfortunately it was for a relationship that only lasted a sum total of 2 MONTHS!!! Nowadays, I don't even know if I count it as a relationship. Matter of fact, this song was written for this young lady as a Valentine's day present, only for the break up to happen exactly a month later...TALK ABOUT IRONY. The time in recording this album really showed me a lot how human relationships are fragile but the relationship with GOD never is. Nevertheless this song has actually blessed a lot of couples out there, so I wouldn't call it waste, not at all...but as you could see, at the time, I wasn't having the best luck with relationships, not even in Manassas...THANK GOD FOR JESUS. Still I do really, REALLY LOVE THIS JOINT & it works in the storyline of the album alluding to a "happy ending". Shout out to SAGE on the 'soundtrack'.
