about

This song aka "CHAPTER 7" is honestly maybe one of the most intense songs on this album, and for the genre known as "Christian hip hop" it's a pretty unique approach as far the lyricism goes. I sometimes joke that if emcees like Eminem, Royce Da 5'9 or Joe Budden were to do a pro-Christ hip hop track, this might be the closest thing to it since it has a certain stylistic approach associated with those aforementioned artists. In chapter seven of this story I'm not suicidal anymore but I'm pretty angry at this point, especially after learning about certain things I had no clue about after the break up. Things that prove to be devastating. I'm pretty much at a "breaking point, tempted to take out my rage on something or someone. With this song I was saying that, while seeking GOD in the midst of great anger, I was determined not to take my 'vengeance' out on those who wronged me...but on the "spirits" behind those offenses. UPDATE: Idea behind this song I believe was fully realized & best executed in the song "R.A.G.E." off 2012's "RADICAL DEPARTURE" album - CONQUEST (2013)
