Definitely one of the easiest tracks to write and one that I felt needed to be done. Some Christians have become OVERLY OBSESSED with trying to prove how spiritually and morally corrupt our biggest pop culture icons are, instead of praying that receive salvation....somehow, someway. What's worse is that they are easy scapegoats so as to not face our shortcomings. Don't get me wrong, in certain instances certain celebrities need to be held accountable, but when it becomes more about casting judgment than encouraging them to know who God is...that's a problem. I though Drake's "Light Up" would be a perfect beat to drive this point home...AND THEN SOME.
