This song aka "CHAPTER 3" reigns as the darkest song on this album & probably the DARKEST SONG I'VE EVER WRITTEN TO DATE! This joint talks about the moment where I was extremely tempted to take my life...or at the very least doing something extremely harmful to myself after a devastating argument with my soon to be ex-girlfriend. I wrote this song the day after that ugly experience, almost as a form of therapy...I've never felt that close to contemplating suicide before...it was scary, brutal and an example of extreme self loathing...and I wouldn't wish it anyone. It was a story I felt needed to be told, many Christians and non believers have faced this...and like I found a way, it was key to know that could too. Lastly I saw the genius that is CHRIS BELMONT when after hearing my lyrics for this joint, he produced the music for this song in less than 30 MINUTES...right in front of me.
